Wedding Detail Photo Contest Winners

We had another great photography contest in January focuses on Wedding Details. Details sometimes can be overlooked but I have always felt play an important part in telling the story of the day. They can also be a great time to be creative and to get some really cool shots. We had some good entries and a few winners to announce today.

First the readers choice by popular vote was an image by Kait Husmann of www.chemistryphotography.com . It was also one of my favorite shots as well, a artistic shot of rings set against a textured background of faded flowers. Great job Kait and you won a $100 giftcard from our Sponsor Black River Imaging!

We also picked a winner and went back and forth on this one with some very close runner ups. There were many very solid images that each had strengths on their own. But the winner was a simple detail shoe image by www.adamjohnphotography.com. Even though it is simple in many ways the composition is great, lighting gives the shoes depth and the texture of the background complete the image. Congrats Adam, you win a ChromaLuxe 16×20 aluminum photo panel!

And the runner ups who will receive iTunes giftcards are…

“Inspired by Sakari Photography” by unknown. It looks like this person only left a title on the image caption but not a website address. Please contact us and we will get your giftcard out. Also as a reminder we ask that you write your title and website or email in the caption when uploading your image so we can contact you if you win!

and
“Eternal love” by another unknown. Please contact us and we will get your giftcard out. I love the creativity here with the shadow creating a heart, great job!
