Share you photo blog

One thing I love about twitter is browsing some of the blog posts people link to. So many of you have such great blogs, your posts are witty, fun and of course great images! I love blogging although at the same time the artist inside me always gets nervous every time I hit the publish button. I always have this fear that nobody is going to read the post, or people will hate the images, all these things go through my mind when I press that publish button. But I do love blogging, it gives me a great way to share some of my favorite images with my clients and post some personal things about myself so they can get to know me better. I have been blogging for about 4 years now, and always enjoy it. Although I don’t have the time to write a post every day like I would like, I do try and keep it updated at least twice a week.

I know we have some readers out there with pretty amazing blogs and images. So here is your chance to share your work! Just leave your blog address in the comments below. Also if you visit a blog and love something about a post remember to leave that photographer a comment, blogs should be about community and feedback not just a one way street so leave some comment love :)

Have a great week everyone,
Mark

  1. [...] I have been spending a lot of time the last month in reworking my studios blog and brand. I have had a blog for my studio for many years now and find it interesting how it has evolved. Starting out as something I just though would be fun since I am somewhat of a techie/artist and really didn’t think anything of it in terms of helping my business for the first few years. Then I noticed my clients would mention shoots or stories I had on my blog and realized they are following my blog on a regular basis. I saw the impact that it had on my business and started to work on the overall look of it to match the look of my website. It’s been through a few major revisions since then and the next revision will be the biggest change from a design standpoint that I have had. I am getting excited about it and with blogs on my mind wanted to throw out the question to everyone, what is the most important to you with your photography blog? If you have a current blog now what are some of the most important features about the blog that made you choose it? And for those of you without a blog check out some of our reader blogs from this post: Share your Photography blog. [...]
