Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 Mirrorless Available for Pre-Order

Panasonic last month announced the Lumix GH4 which is a compact, mirrorless camera that can shoot 4K video! Today they are taking preorders for the camera and announced the pricing at $1699 for the body. From the info released so far it does look like a pretty awesome camera, here are the specs:

– A 16.05-megapixel live MOS sensor with a Venus Engine image processor with a quad-core CPU for high speed signal processing.
– Maximum ISO of 25,600.
– High speed burst shooting at 12 fps for up to 40 RAW stills and up to 100 stills in other formats.
– High-Speed 49-Point Autofocus.
– Magnesium Alloy, Weather-Sealed Body.
– OLED live view finder display with a 2,359 K dot resolution.
– Rear touch enabled display with a 1,036K dot resolution.
– 4k Video recording with resolutions of 4096 x 2160 at 24fps and 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps.
– Video streaming while recording in real time using the mini HDMI port located on the device.
– Additional ports include a 3.5mm microphone jack, a 3.5mm headphone jack, AV output, flash sync terminal, and a 2.5mm remote control jack.
– VFR technology for slow and fast motion recording In Full-HD
– The ability to record time lapse and stop motion video.
– Wi-Fi capabilities.
