Adobe working on an official Aperture to Lightroom Migration Tool

Apple announced they will be stopping development of Aperture earlier in the summer and now Adobe has officially announced they will have a migration tool to make an easy transition over. They have a guide for those of you who are eager to switch before their tool is available and you can view the steps to manually move your content over here: Making the switch from Aperture to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

Also if you don’t want to wait for the official tool there was a developer (Adrian Grah) that took matters into his own hands and created his own. It’s a Beta version right now and is free for anyone to download http://apertureexporter.com
