Adobe Releases a New iPad App – Carousel
Adobe announced a brand new iPad app is coming out named Carousel. It’s a new way to be able to access your images that are on your desktop computer on your iPad and be able to do some editing. The app is built front the same technology that Lightroom has however they haven’t said exactly how much editing ability you will have with the app yet.
Here is a quote from Adobe on what this new Carousel app is all about:
The Adobe® Carousel app is the only photography solution that gives you access to your entire photo library from all your iPads, iPhones, and Macs — no storage issues, no manual syncing hassles. Enjoy your photos anywhere you are, and make them look terrific using the same powerful photo-processing technology as Adobe Photoshop® Lightroom® software.
The app will be free however to use it you will need a monthly or yearly subscription. The cost at the start will be $5.99/month or $59.99/year and with this you will get an unlimited amount of cloud based storage so you can access your images on your iPad, iPhones or Macs. The cost will double after January 2012. It should be released on the app store soon and i’ll provide some more coverage once it’s out.
