Adobe Camera Raw 7.0 in Photoshop CS6

Today I want to share a quick video that Russell Brown from Adobe created showing off the differences with Adobe Camera RAW. One thing that most people do when comparing the latest version of Photoshop is compare the new features and evaluate if those are worth the upgrade price. However with Photoshop and even Lightroom one thing that Adobe improves upon is how the software handles the basic image editing. How well you can bring up shadows or pull down highlights many times are very greatly improved from one version to the next.

When Photoshop CS6 was recently released most people covered how the new content aware features work and how the new blur tools work and while these new feature are really cool its nice to see what improvements they have made to the basic editing we do. This video shows a few images and he compares the processing of them from the 2010 version of camera RAW and the current version that comes in the current version of Photoshop CS6. It’s pretty amazing the difference in how the final images can come out from some of these new improvements!

Check out the video and let me know what you think in the comments below.
